America in 3D road show comes to Iloilo
Iloilo and the Western Visayas are in for a treat as “America in 3D: A Road Show in Diplomacy, Development, and Defense” visits Iloilo on March 2-4, 2012 for a weekend featuring the best of America.
The 3-day event will be held at SM City Iloilo and will be led by U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines Harry K. Thomas, Jr. himself.
The U.S. Embassy in Manila has already staged 3 America in 3D events last year held in Manila (March 2011), Baguio (July 2011) and Cebu (September 2011).
Various events are lined up for this event such as American food samplings, sports clinics, special musical performances, dance lessons, talks about visas and how to study in the U.S. and so much more all for FREE. It will also include two exciting online challenges for the Ilonggos namely, “America in 3D Kabataan Challenge” and “ILove Iloilo Photo Challenge”.
Aside from that, Ilonggos will also have the chance to see the US Navy ship that will be here during the duration of the event. This ship will carry more than 60 Americans who will be joining the events.
