Bacolod MassKara Festival 2011 Schedule
Here is the updated schedule of the much awaited event in the City of Smiles, the MassKara Festival 2011. Considered one of the most colorful festivals in the Philippines, MassKara 2011 is slated on October 1 – 19, 2011.
This year marks the 32nd celebration of the MassKara Festival with the theme “Celebrating the New icons of Bacolod”.
It talks about the new structures all over the city which symbolizes Bacolod’s progress making it one of the country’s growth center. Some of these new icons include Bacolod City Government Center, Pope John Paul II Tower, SM City Bacolod, East Block, The Chalet of L’Fisher Hotel, Planta Hotel, and Art District.
The 2011 MassKara Festival logo was designed by veteran Bacolod visual artist and fine arts professor Bamboo Tonogbanua who has also been commissioned to do the trophies for all the official competitions this year.
Masskara Festival marks Bacolodnons and Negrense’s strong resilience over the tests of time.
