Autocross is becoming one of the most popular safe Motorsports in the world. It is said to be a the cheapest one because you don’t need to customize or spend a lot and modify for your car to get in. In fact, any type of car can join the competition as long as it’s road worthy, the driver must have a license and it fits to the several classes/ categories set by the organizers.
The Dinagyang 2010 Autocross Championships has at least 12 Classes/ Categories where you can compete in as many classes as you want.
1. VOLKSWAGEN CLASS
Class A: Engines 1.5 Below
Class B: Engines 1.6 Uo
2. AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION CLASS
3. STOCK CLASS
Stock A – up to 1.6
Stock B – 1.7 above
4. VOLKSWAGEN VS. STOCK CLASS
5. SUPERSTOCK CLASS
Super Stock A – up to 1.6
Super Stock B – 1.7 above
6. MODIFIED CAR CLASS
Modified A – 4 doord
Modified B – 2 door
7. LADY DRIVER’S CLASS OPEN
8. ALL 4 DOOR CLASS OPEN
9. ALL 2 DOOR CLASS OPEN
10. ALL HONDA CARS (except 2 door hatchbacks)
11. ALL TOYOTA CARS OPEN
12. ALL NISSAN CARS OPEN
The Autocross will be held at the SM City Iloilo Car Park on January 15, 16 and 17 organized by Ground Effects Iloilo and SM City Iloilo.
