Dinagyang Festival is undeniably conquering the world bit by bit. It has not only gained recognition in the country but also making waves in the international enthusiasts. Last year, Asian News Network based in Thailand featured Iloilo and Dinagyang entitled “Celebration Time in Iloilo” (13-09-2008). That same author published almost similar article in the July 2009 issue of “Get Lost” Magazine. “Get Lost” is a monthly travel publication based in Australia that features different destinations and spots in the world but they rarely include destinations in the Philippines. Travel agencies in Australia don’t even had a decent and luring brochure of the Philippine Tourism in their racks. The featured article is entitled “Philippines The Ati – Ati and The Iloilo Fair”. It is really a blasting exposure to Iloilo’s finest Dinagyang Festival. You can view the entire article and photos at Skyscraper City forum Iloilo Province thread or you can visit “Get Lost” online at http://www.getlostmag.com. Tom Cockrem, the author of the two published articles has been coming in to Iloilo since then and he also wrote “Life in the ‘burbs” (October 16, 2005 The Sun-Herald) an article that talks about his adventure in visiting centuries old magnificent churches in Iloilo.
