Here are some photos of the Iloilo Chinese New Year Festival 2010 highlights held on Friday, February 12, 2010 2 days ahead of the actual day of the lunar new year. The event was graced by the presence of several campaigners from the highest national aspirant to the local politicians. The exiting mayor of Iloilo City, Jerry Trenas declared that the Iloilo Chinese New Year celebration would be officially a festival after being staged for 8 years and an institution that would be celebrated annually with the full support of the Iloilo City government.
