Medicus Medical Center Groundbreaking, June 10, 2011
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new medical facility of Medicus Philippines Incorporated is set on Friday, June 10, 2011. The proposed Medicus Medical Center is envisioned to be the most modern and state of the art medical facility in Iloilo once operational.
Medicus Philippines Inc. is a medical company engaged in the business of providing a comprehensive range of services for 20 years. These services include: clinical laboratory, diagnostic and imaging services, out-patient surgical operations, pharmaceutical products for wholesale, distribution and retail, medical clinic for general and occupational consultation, medical offices for lease and condo-clinics for sale.

Medicus currently has 9 existing diagnostic centers all over Iloilo and Panay Island that include; Medicus Main (General St., Iloilo City), Medicus Jaro, Medicus La Paz, Medicus Molo, Health Partners Condo-Clinics, Medicus Antique, Medicus Sara, Medicus Roxas and Medicus Estancia.
The proposed Medicus Medical Center will be constructed beside the existing 8-Storey Medicus Health Partners Condo-Clinics inside Boardwalk Commercial Complex in Mandurriao district. It will be composed of 2 interconnected buildings; the tallest has 10-story high while the other one is only 6 stories.
The proposed hospital is expected to boost the medical tourism opportunities in Iloilo City bringing in quality health facilities not only to the Ilonggos but also to the neighboring provinces.
