SEAIR flies Manila – Iloilo vv starting August 2
South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR) beefs up its domestic coverage with the opening of 7 new routes.
Among the top domestic routes in its new destinations is Iloilo, one of the three included in Western Visayas.
Ilonggos can now fly SEAIR directly from Manila to Iloilo and vice versa starting August 2, 2012. The new domestic flight will operate from the Manila Domestic Airport (Ninoy Aquino International Airport – NAIA Terminal 4) to the Iloilo Airport in Cabatuan daily using one of the airline’s newly-acquired fleet, an Airbus A319 or A320 aircraft.
SEAIR’s flight DG 7072 departs Manila at 06:00 AM and arrives in Iloilo at 07:45 AM. Meanwhile, flight DG 7073 leaves Iloilo at 08:15 AM and arrives in Manila at 10:00 AM.
With the opening of this new route, SEAIR is offering its lowest seats starting at P699 for one-way fare from Manila to Iloilo vice versa. The fares will be available for sale until June 13, 2012 for travel until October 31, 2012.
Aside from the new Iloilo route, SEAIR will also offer direct flights from Manila to Cebu (3x daily starting July 31), Davao (2x daily starting August 18) and daily flights to Tacloban (August 1), Puerto Princesa (August 3), Boracay via Kalibo (August 4) and Bacolod (August 20).
Iloilo Airport is currently serviced by Cebu Pacific, Airphil Express, Philippine Airlines and Zest Air.
SEAIR is the Philippines’ premier leisure airline tapping destinations barely served by big airline companies such as Basco in Batanes, Tablas in Romblon, El Nido in Palawan and has the most flights to Boracay from Manila and Cebu.
Bookings for the new flights will be handled by Tiger Airways. SEAIR has tied up with the Tiger Airways Partner Airline Programme which allows the airline company to distribute its seats through Tiger Airways’ established internet booking system. Tiger Airways is in talks to purchase a 40% stake in SEAIR.
