Soon To Rise: Gaisano Capital Oton
The people of the Municipality of Oton will finally have a bigger and decent shopping center within their neighborhood. Gaisano Capital Group, the company that operates several Gaisano Malls in the Visayas is building a mall in Oton.
Located along J.C. Zulueta St. (in front of the new Allan’s Talabahan or near the Bulangan), in the main high-way southbound of Iloilo, the 2-storey mall is currently on the initial stage of construction. It is expected to open within the year or early next year.
Gaisano Capital Oton is the 4th establishment of Gaisano Capital Group in Iloilo. Currently they have Gaisano Capital Lapaz, Guanco and Passi City.
Based on the official architect’s rendering perspective, the edifice will be a sprawling structure, it may even be bigger than that of Gaisano Passi. Aside from the proposed mall development, the Municipal Government of Oton is also currently constructing a new and more modern Oton Public Market which is nearly completed. The shopping mall giant SM Prime Holdings on the other hand was also reported to have acquired a large piece of land in nearby Brgy. Trapiche for future development which we should all watch out for.
That being said, Oton is surely on the right track to progress!
