Sooo Pinoy “Food Trip Na, Pilipinas” Boracay Leg – Day 1
The Sooo Pinoy “Food Trip Na, Pilipinas” food adventure has landed in the island paradise. We arrived at Ban’s Beach Resort in Boracay at almost nightfall so we had a little rest and prepared for our first dinner at Sur Beach Resort in Station 1.
We were served with Sur’s creamy Panfried Cream Dory with Garlic Cheese Sauce and Mini Beef Burger Patty with Mushroom.

Right after the meal we hit a tricycle ride to Boracay Regency Resort in Station 2 to sample the best local dishes at Mesa Filipino Moderne. Mesa offers some of the most delectable Filipino delicacies in Boracay with a modern twist. We had Tinapa Roll, Crispy Hito Flakes, Boneless Crispy Pata, Chicken Binakol, Suahe on the Rocks (River Shrimp), Crispy Boneless Tilapia, Salt-Crusted Apahap (local sea bass) and dry and wet Laing.
After that satisfying meal, we had a short walk along the beach front of the white-sand beach until we reach Le Soleil de Boracay Resort where we had a taste test of its version of Chicken & Pork Adobo and its unique rendition called Inubarang Manok.
Three meals, one night – that made the Sooo Pinoy team’s first day in Boracay a very gratifying gastronomic experience.
