The Richmonde Park Hotel Soon To Rise in Iloilo
Convenience & luxury. Comfort & indulgence. Personal yet unobtrusive. These are just some words to describe a “Richmonde Experience” and finally it will soon be experienced right here in Iloilo City.
Boasting of world-class facilities and an over-all warm atmosphere, the Richmonde brand has established two hotels in Manila located in Ortigas and Eastwood City. It is one of the ventures of urban developer Megaworld Corporation in the hospitality industry.
Iloilo is lucky enough because the Richmonde brand will soon have its first hotel chain outside of Metro Manila here. The first wave of developments in the new Iloilo Central Business District by Megaworld will include the Richmonde Park Hotel. It will be one of the initial 2 buildings to be constructed in the company’s 54.5 hectare property in Mandurriao district.
The interior design of the proposed Richmonde Park Hotel was designed by the world reknown hospitality design and development firm, Gettys. The Richmonde Iloilo project is one of just two hotels designed by the firm in the Philippines that include the Resorts World Manila.
According to Gettys’ website, the overall theme of the interiors is inspired by one of the region’s most profitable harvests – the surgarcane. The scope of the design consists of public areas, full-service restaurant and the grand ballroom.
Iloilo will finally have an upscale accommodation facility, just in time for the planned International flights here soon.
